what a fecking brill thing to happen.
Went to the flicks tonight & saw my 1st 3d film since about 1976, what a treat, really impressed.
It has kicked off my desire to watch films at the cinema (where all good films should be viewed) instead of downloading, streaming, or waiting for it on tv.

Feck there are some very talented people out there & they deserve to earn a living.

Just watched the last episode, it was fantastic!

Adapted from a book by a Rolling Stone journo who followed some US Marines during the invasion of Iraq. It was adapted by David Simon and Ed Burns (who wrote the equally brilliant the Wire). Was quite slow burning but the ending was very powerful. It was really interesting to see what life was actually like for the troops.
Peep Show

No, not that.

I'm on about the show on Channel 4. Anyone else seen it?

Stars Mitchell & Webb about two guys who share a flat, but the story is told through the eyes of the two main characters, and you hear their inner thoughts as a voiceover.

Sixth series coming up this year and it's already been commissioned for a seventh.

Favourite character has to be Super Hans, he comes out with some cracking oneliners (and he looks a lot like Troy Dyer).

So, anyone else a fan?

Anyone a Red Dwarf fan (I ASSUME vicram/Rick's Van is as he used to have Kryten as his avatar for a while on D.E.T.)? Anyone watch the new TV show tonight?

It was FUCKING RUBBISH,

I grew up on Red Dwarf. I 'm heart broken. I didn't laugh once and the characters just seemed unrecogniseable from the bunch I spent my teens watching instead of talking to girls. Terrible.

I haven't been this gutted since the 07/08 season.

Thoughts?

(Yes I'm drunk, but still surprisingly legible.)

Billed as the minute by minute run down of the 9/11 attacks its been total shit. I didnt think such an amazing, shocking and thought provoking event could be made so damn uninteresting.

Its all random news reports & bizarre amateur footage - shite!

the only bit that shocked me was this phone call as the building collapses:

A list of what i can remember off the top of my head is below, but would be great if anyoen can reccomend any new ones.

Thanks in advance.

Oh, and if anyone has any of them, would happily swap as will be in Derby in a couple of weeks.
