Just watched the last episode, it was fantastic!

Adapted from a book by a Rolling Stone journo who followed some US Marines during the invasion of Iraq. It was adapted by David Simon and Ed Burns (who wrote the equally brilliant the Wire). Was quite slow burning but the ending was very powerful. It was really interesting to see what life was actually like for the troops.
