Some people don't follow the cricket, but a few do take an interest. Just watching Skysportsnews and the story is that Matthew Hoggard has been released by Yorkshire and is now a free agent. I was thinking during the report that he has a lot of supporters in England and I reckon if he signed for Derbyshire, there may be a increase in supporter interest. Apparently as hosts of the 2012 olympics we are today going to nominate two new sports to enter the games. Golf is one of the main contenders alledgedly but other minority sports seem to be in the running as well.

What would you suggest as our nominations?

I'd go for Cheese Rolling and Shrove tide football, we'd be favourites for both of those.

Gotta say, I've got mixed feelings on this new Formula One phase. I honestly believed last season was the best Formula One season I'd ever seen, topped off with the greatest race ever, the final Brazilian GP. These new rules have been done to shake up the sport somewhat, presumably in order to make it a fairer race and to stop the McClaren/Ferrari dominance. But it isn't a fairer race for the drivers at all, at the moment it just seems like it's replaced McClaren and Ferrari with Brawn GP ...
