Dont be surprised to see Commons, Hulse and Green go. I find it confusing having so many central midfielders!

Was the 'M' after the £ a slip of the finger regarding Conners....I would have snapped their hands off with that kind of offer....

Quite. How come we didn't sell him for that? We got him for nowt, it's a vastly inflated price for a player of his ability and the manager doesn't like him.

I think they offered something and we wanted £1million, they were about to offer it and changed their mind. Not sure how much was offered, but now we have Stoor, and the possibility of signing him quite cheaply might facilitate a move for less then the initial £1m wanted.

I dont think Stoor will play for Fulham and he's hardly one for the future. May be a bargain to be had.

Not even Roy"pay 8x the real value"Keane would offer £1m for Connolly, surely? And wasn't the bid rejected for being too low anyway? I can't believe we'd turn down that for Connolly.

From what I've seen Hendrie, Zadkovich, Price, Pearson, Barnes, Teale, Buxton, Mills, Pringle and Deeney's contracts are all up come season end. Pringle, Buxton and Deeney's futures will largely depend on if Clough is still in charge. Mills should get an extention (if he hasn't already) and I don't think Hendrie, Price or Zadkovich will get enough chances to show their worth to earn new ones. This leaves us with Teale, Pearson and Barnes. I suspect we'll judge Barnes on how he does in the second half of the season and he'll be offered terms dependent on that, Pearo is a good squad player at this level and i'd think he'd be retained too. Teale could do either way, especially if Clough wakes up and figures out Davies is better wide left than up front. I agree with Mosytn re: what will become of him, especially as he's on about £7k per week (that'll be £1/4m off the wages).

Commons will go (thank goodness) to a prem club, completely disappear and pop up in League One in three years. Hulse I think will stay, I suspect Strachan will have his own ideas and noone else was linked with him. Green I hope doesn't go, in fact he'd the LAST player I'd want to leave, fully fit and on form he's our best player in my eyes.

Also, didn't Clough say last month we'd go back for Blackburn's Frank Fielding in January? He'd probably still a target.

I hope you are right but I can't see him wanting to drop a division, and since he's played for sweden he'll want to maintain his international career. Wrong-end-of-the-table Championship football won't help him there.

11 goals in 53 apps for Ilkeston, glad to see we're aiming high again.

I have no problem with signing the very best players from non-league football but I would have thought a striker would need a goal to games ratio of over 33% to even get on the "to watch" list.

He will be our ace in the hole when we play Alfreton

Am I right in thinking that this guy didn't play in the the 'Pringle' game? Was he the bloke wandering roung the ground like he owns it? If he is, he looks okay in a tracky.

    So that's alright.

    He's probably injured though.

Keiron Dyer, Darren Anderton, anyone of 5 from ward C at the DRI, and we have just missed out on Steven Gately, the grim reaper got in first

I thought Pringle was free because his contract had ran out at Ilkeston.

The fee was to be made up of gate receipts from the friendly we played at their place and if it came to less than 50k we would pay the rest as a transfer fee.
