According to Colin Bloomfield's Twitter, Gareth Roberts and Craig Bryson are doubtful for Saturday but John Brayford MAY return.

Re: Emergency loan time????????
I dont think we should use the loan system as very often the players we seem to go for do not improve our quality at all.
for me Carrol is not better than Bailey who he seems to have replaced, Noble was no better than what we have at the club and others have come in without making an impact.
I personally think we should see the season out with what we have got and use any money we will save on a loanees wages for next seasons recruitment.

This will be the Back 4 v Saints, Green RB, Barks, Brayford CB's and The Shack at leftback as he is naturally left footed

Does not make sense to have a back four with three players playing out of their normal positions to fill one spot...provided Brayford is fit.
The fact that it does not make sense gives you a good chance of being right.

Re: Emergency loan time????????
Did anyone see Jim Montgomery (ex sunderland do you yahoo hairstyle goalkeeper) on football focus?
he was asked
What has o'neil done since he came to change things around
Jim: playing players in their correct positions is the main thing

Do you think he could start a craze???

Bloody hell, It's obvious, Bedders........
The league table actually only works to whole numbers, and ignores decimals, for simplicity's sake.
Tuesday morning, we were actually 12.784th, and by 10pm, we had dropped to 13.286th.
Just stop being so bloody pedantic!!

To be fair there are times when a player should be asked to play out of position to help out...just not when the player he is replacing is actually fit and playing ok.

Re: Emergency loan time????????
Emergency loans would be a waste of time...
unless the Football League agree that we urgently need a midfield and a couple of goal-scorers...
and/or we can loan a manager with more ambition and a tactical brain.

Re: Emergency loan time????????
instead of bringing two loan players in January that we didn't need the club should have brought a full back in then as cover - I don't buy clough's rubbish about players not wanting to come to sit on the bench - a young full back will be happy to start on the bench knowing he is one injury away from getting in the team.
It would have been much better than changing a successful team to accomodate some kid from Spurs who (admittedly only on 1 viewing) is no better than the players we already have.
Now with Roberts injured said fullback could have stepped straight into the team.
