Re: Missing?
Damn you lot love to exaggerate don't you... Realistically we are only missing 5 at the back 4 in the middle, and 2 up top... Shouldn't be too hard to find

You think Bryson would have made any difference today. Southampton are a quality outfit Bryson is just a plain workhorse.

Yes I do.
With respect I feel you are mistaken. What has Bryson done to be held in such esteem, yes he runs round a lot but most of it is wasted energy. I prefer a midfielder who can see an early pass but Bryson is looking at his boots most of the time. I would clear out Bryson, Green and Bailey this summer, none of them have enough quality on the ball in that key area.

I am not mistaken at all. I feel you are the one who is mistaken when you say Bryson looks at his boots most of the time. Bryson breaks up play, he defends well and he also assists up front. He is an excellent signing.

If he is such an excellent signing, why are we second best in midfield in virtually every game. Even Coventry came to our ground and outplayed us for long periods.

Perhaps because it's a team game and one man isn't responsible for everybody. Surely he cannot be held responsible for Robinson's lack of first touch, for Tyson's inability to score, for Jamie Ward's loss of form, for Barker's inability to clear his lines properly. Or perhaps for you he can.

No I am talking midfield control. I don't think I am commenting too controversially when I say this has been the weakest part of the whole team and Bryson's lack of football intelligence and quality is a major factor in this.

I don't think you're being controversial at all. I think you are wrong but that's just my opinion, and that's what football is all about. I think Bryson is an excellent signing and we will have to agree to disagree on this one.
