    Just watched Newcastle against Villa on ESPN Classic - Keegan's team, with Ginola in it. It reminded me that Jim Smith was within a gnat's cod of signing both David Ginola and Emmanuel Petit in that fantastic period before Steve Maclaren was poached by Manure. Just how far could that team have gone? :crying:

    They would have been out injured after the first six games.

    Well Ginola would have been played at right back & Petit would have been on the naughty step from the off & would have been loaned out, however, we would have been a sensible & stable run club & with an outside chance of the play-offs
