Loads of others but I can return to this time and time again, studying music and production years ago, this inspired me to do so. Plus he wrote some of the tracks when he was 14 on synths he had programmed himself.

Ashamedly, my limited knowledge of Aphex Twin was a video of a monster type thing screaming at an old woman.

I'm currently playing this album on Spotify and loving it - right up my street.

    Nice one Gawa!

Sounds like the video for Come To Daddy is what you've seen, happy to recommend loads of similar stuff.

If you like this I'd head straight for Boards of Canada afterwards and the album Music Has The Right to Children.

Arthur Lee, sadly missed. The Love concerts from about 10 years ago with Baby Lemonade as his band were simply astounding.
    Wonderful stuff.

Jackson Browne - Running on Empty

The last two tracks on the album (The load out and Stay) were the last two tunes played prior to the towels going on the taps at The Britannia in Amsterdam. A great pub with a regular clientele split roughly 50/50 Dutch and Brits. Then Heineken sold it and the new owners shut it for a month, tarted it up and reopend it as Amsterdammed, a bar for young things and they play techno House very, very loudly. Never been in since.

    Loughy, dear oh dear.

Boris, when i was decent at darts I always listened to "Solid As A Rock" before I played. Imagining it was my walk-on music.

But I was rubbish, because I was trained by Keith Deller rather than Uncle Bob who knew everything about darts.......

Oh, 'Ladies and Gentleman we are floating in Space' - Spiritualized.

Love those Aphex Twin videos though. 'Rubber Johnny' is feckin weird.
