Who will be the first to mention the title of this thread?

But yes, also very sad. However, I'm not all that familiar with her work as it's before my time. But always very sad to lose a big screen icon.

Beautiful woman who didn't need the shock factor to make a name for herself.

Several had already passed when she recorded it.

Listening to that, there are so many names I recognise, but don't know why :/ (or should I say didn't, thank you google)

Just trying to make some of us feel even older?
Only Harlow, who died very young, was before my time, though Garbo had long been a recluse.

I once bumped into Bette Davis as she was getting off the Mull ferry and I was getting on it.
I'm not tall but I felt like a giant - she must have been a bit under 5 feet tall.

Most of them were gone when she recorded it I believe.

Yeh.. Most of the one's I've had to google seem to have passed before she recorded it (I suppose that goes some way to explaining why I had to google them)
