I wish that's how it worked. The Rams would never finish below about 14th in the top division.

Watford really flying under the radar moving into second the one team most of us have ignored in our comments.
Norwich cannot be happy about their home form having lost to a Wigan and a draw against a seriously weakend Rams team.

    See Boro switched to a 4 4 2 today.
Putting Bamford up front instead of out wide.

Could the midweek matches provide any shocks for our rivals? It doesn't look too likely.

    Blackburn v BRENTFORD
(Blackburn beat Charlton and Brentford lost to Cardiff today)

    Cardiff v BOURNEMOUTH
(Cardiff beat Brentford but had two sent off and the Cherries thrashed Blackpool)

    DERBY v MIDDLESBROUGH
    (Boro won well against Ipswich)

    Huddersfield v NORWICH
(Huddersfield got a draw at St Andrews)

    IPSWICH v Bolton
(Ipswich lost to Boro and Bolton beat Millwall today)

    Wigan v WATFORD
(Wigan beat fellow strugglers Rotherham and Watford beat Reading easily)

    WOLVES v Sheff Wed
(Wolves drew with Brighton and the Wendies drew with Fulham today)

whenever I have thought there wouldn't be any shocks there hace veen and when I thought there would be there wasn't. So I am giving up guessing. As long as Derby win we will be in a strong position going in to next weekend

Cardiff beat Brentford today, Rhodes is back in form (shop window for the teams wanting to buy him?), and Wigan beat Norwich recently.

This league is unpredictable. Banana skins a possibility week in, week out.

Boro ARE ordinary in attack and lack midfield creativity apart from Adomah.

You can't defend your way to wins against good attacking sides like Bournemouth.

Boro still have to play Watford, Norwich and Wolves, so they could drop a few points.

A site called Football Web Pages has done its own prediction of the final table and all the
SBC match results until the end of the season.

Their guess about our results could be a bit optimistic - 5 wins and 2 draws (away draws at
Huddersfield and Millwall) - though their finishing order looks very possible.

We'd probably better hope they're wrong though because we'd meet Norwich in the first
round of the playoffs and, if we got through that, Middlesbrough or Ipswich in the final.

    SBC Predicted Final Table

That table has us a mere 2 points off an auto place.

    Birmingham. Injury time.

Will that come back to bite us again?

How can it not. And the points we tossed away with late goals given up to Norwich and The Scum among others. Sure we salvaged some points elsewhere, Rotherham for example. But on mass this team has frittered away more points than it has salvaged.

The ref had a hand in both of the Brum goals though rather than the team frittering away a lead. Their 1st was never a penalty and for their 2nd, in the 15 or so seconds prior to him awarding a free kick to them, from which they scored, he ignored two blatant fouls on Derby players.
