    Stars in their Eyes

Post by Boris on Sat 17 Jan 2015, 10:35 am

Just looking through tonight's tv and see Harry Hill's Stars in their Eyes is on. Watched the first one last week and won't watch it again, embarrassingly bad. I can remember the programme from the early 90's, especially when Matthew Kelly presented it and it was one of the biggest shows on tv, even bigger than the X Factor is now. We used to host Stars in their Eyes final parties (sad, I know) and I can remember the result being mentioned on the main evening news. Real shame it has degenerated in to the farce it is now. Anyone else look back with fondness on the programme??

Wouldn't say I watched last week's, but I did "catch bit's of it".

I'm with you all the way, Bozza... apart from the parties, of course!

Not a patch on the original, and I suspect it'l be just the one series!!

It was dreadful Mucker..it was mainly a very unfunny slapstick Harry Hill show with some singing thrown in as an after thought..never mind, we are enjoying the Voice though on BBC 1 which is on at the same time.....
