You never really want Dirty Leeds to win, but on this occasion I'll make an exception.

Yeah like I said in the top six thread..I can see us going into the last month of the season with up to six teams chasing at least one of the automatic spots..I reckon this is going to play out as one of the most exciting promotion races of recent memory...not sure my nerves will take it..I hope we can stay in contention.

If we can figure out a way to get the F.A. to shorten all Championship matches to 89 minutes we should walk it.

Not "worry", as such, but certainly "show some concern".

Certainly wouldn't fancy the play off's with the current mood around us.  Has to be top two or bust for us this season.

There's gonna be a shortage of fingernails here in Derbyshire over the coming months!

I do hope we don't come to rue the 3 points we threw away 2nd half last weekend. Even the draw would see us in with a chance of going top.

We've thrown points away all season in games we shouldn't have though Mad AM, so frustrating.

Norwich at home, should have held on.
    Leeds away, awful.
Brentford away - Never should have lost that game.
    Millwall at home.

Last weekend was another in a short list where I think will cost us at the end of the season.

We've been brilliant at times don't get me wrong, but games like these are the ones we should have done more in.

But likewise there are games we have won this season where you might say we were a bit fortunate. Norwich deserved at least a point against us..teams lose football matches..just like Man City did last weekend, it happens.....

But we shouldn't have let it happen is my point, you have to dominate in these games and see them out if you are serious about automatic promotion.

Whether Norwich deserved a point doesn't matter, we should have not let that goal in. We deserved to get promoted last season and didn't.

Those games listed we should have won or taken a point from at the minimum.

Don't get this 'should have'...Norwich will argue they 'should have' taken more of the chances they had against us..works both ways. This division is very tight, there is not much between the teams and so teams in the top 6 will lose games, just as Ipswich and Bournemouth did this week and just as the Rams have done.....

This week's results confirm what we already know: it's a much tighter division this season, no team is unbeatable and every goal is vital.

The teams that finally get promoted will be the ones that can protect a lead and not give away soft goals that cost points late in the game. We did this perfectly at Ipswich. Now we have to do it in all our remaining games.

Facts are we were 2-1 with mins to go, points dropped.

Same with the other games, protect what you have rather than reply on the chance you might get another opportunity.

Forest - 1-0 up at HT, protect that.
