Really not sure...hasn't been a success since Blackpool....has spent a couple of seasons getting splinters in his backside...either very fresh... or not match sharp.
I hope he does a good job for us, certainly has the talent, just hope his attitude is good??!!

Running out of chances..he needs to step up.
Been on teams that have struggled for most part...maybe a more successful team will help his game.

If this one goes through I reckon prove to be an excellent bit of business.

He's clearly got talent and his natural position is wide attacker. With our coaching staff and formation he has the perfect chance to restart his career. He will have lots of motivation - ten good games for us and he is Premier League player with a possible international future - a poor spell for us and his descent down the leagues to obscurity begins.

Not a problem. If he signs for us his attitude will be spot on. SM and the boys will see to that.

Not sure what I think about this one

Possible plusses:- Very good at turning defence into attack quickly. Very good at running with the ball. Proven at this level. Natural wide man rather than a midfielder playing wide.

Possible negatives:- At his best when he is top dog, big fish in a small pond, but has struggled when he needs to be part of a team. Perhaps a little greedy when on the ball where our game is built on unselfish play.

I think that the jury has to be out on Ince, he has more than enough ability to be a promotion clinching signing, but still has a lot to prove. So my fingers will crossed if he signs.

1 good season at Blackpool among several of mediocrity and worse. I don't see what all the fuss is about and if his Dad wasn't the Guvnor, then neither would anybody else.

Like I said for the most part he has played on struggling teams..if he signs let's see how he does on a team that has a good amount of possession and success.

I think the main point is that we need four players in the matchday squad who can play in those wide positions. Whoever plays there has to cover a huge amount of ground and they are all shattered after 70 minutes. If 433 is working well and we're still applying pressure, we need to introduce fresh legs half way through the second half.

After this week, we have four weeks of matches on Tuesday and Saturday - if we beat Reading in the cup it's six weeks! We are going to need four frontline wide players plus either Calero or Bennett as back up. With Russell being out we need two players in, one for the rest of the season and one for a month or so.

Ince appears to represent the best bet of fitting straight into the side and being affordable. The only other player I can see making sense is Anya from Watford. Other than that it will be an import - who is bound to take weeks to settle.

Did he play for Hull in the FA cup or will he be available vs Reading?

Ince played in Hull's FA Cup game against Arsenal, so he is cup-tied.

Well Lennon was supposed to be joining Hull but that fell through this morning, so it's quite plausible.

Funnily enough I just heard Graham Courtney on Talksport say that Hull may decide to wait until the emergency window opens next week to loan him out, so that they can have a 28 day recall on him. I hope that if that is the case we tell them to f*ck off, and move on to somebody else.

Hopefully he's forgotten to take his translator. Bruce may well be able to speak French, but I doubt anyone in France could understand it without a translator anyway....
