How many points - the last six games

Post by RRC on Sat 04 Apr 2015, 12:04 am

Still feeling optimistic or have all your hopes ebbed away?

A Wigan (L we lost the home game 1-2)
H Brentford (L we lost the away game 1-2)
H Blackpool (W we got a 1-0 win on a stormy night in October)
A Huddersfield (W we beat them 3-2 at the iPro)
A Millwall (D we drew 0-0 back in October)
H Reading (W we won in the league but won and lost in cup games)

Please post your points' forecast before kick off on Monday.

A Wigan - bullied off the park LOSS
H Brentford - suddenly look like world beaters WIN
H Blackpool - even we can beat them WIN
A Huddersfield - give away a sloppy goal after dominating DRAW
A Millwall - kicked off the park LOSS
H Reading - gift Reading a last minute equaliser and drop to 7th DRAW

8 - Club reset - press the off button for five seconds and restart in safe mode.

I was spot on with my predictions for Feb and March. I hope I'm being unduly pessimistic with these.

    Wigan (A) Loss
    Brentford (H) Draw
    Blackpool (H) Win
    Huddersfield (A) Draw
    Millwall (A) Loss
    Reading (H) Win

8 points and Championship football for another season.

    A Wigan Draw
    H Brentford Draw
    H Blackpool Win
    A Huddersfield Win
    A Millwall Draw
    H Reading Win

So 12 points which should secure a play off place and then who knows, we might just come good....

7 points. Finish 7th. Everyone deflated. Steve leaves.

Last few weeks I've been so pissed off about it all! Thinking back to Fulham away, Brum at home etc and where we could have been.

3 points from the previous 7 games shouldn't have us filled with confidence, however, I think (or is it hope?) we are about to embark on a run.

We need 6 wins but will probably get 14 points from the 18.

    Update . . .

    We've got 2 wins and 3 draws for 9 points, so a 6-game total of 9, 10 or 12 is possible.

We haven't lost a game (yet) and we're averaging 1.8 points a game in the last five, which
amazingly is slightly better than our average for the season.

We have 9 points (WDWDD) - does that make it bode better or worse for the future? Afraid

A draw is all we need. The Amster family will be there, all 4 of us, to see the final League game of the season. Probably in the Harvester post game.

So far one better than my eight points prediction which was in the form of two wins two draws two losses.
I fear it will remain at one point as well.
Horrible feeling about Saturday...if anything I thought we might back in by losing and both Brentford and Wolves losing.
But looking at their fixtures I fear not.

As stated Wheels off not up.

No winners in this Guess the Points.  Hurt

Plenty of folk forecast 8 or 10 points but nobody went for 9 points in our last 6 games
