Bournemouth stretching their lead at the top. Another away win tonight. Can't see anyone catching them now.

And to think there was a time around Christmas when I thought that would be us.

    Bang head

They were a collective bag of nerves for 70 minutes tonight - Luckily the Brighton keeper decided to defend the "wall" side at the decisive free kick....Oh and Brighton's main striker was a bloke called Leon Best.

Even more frustrating to know that we are better than them, but simply haven't produced it often enough.

Said months ago ( can't find the thread) that I thought we were chasing one spot as Bournemouth were dead on to go up.
I actually think they have been the best team in the league I even feared them last season and was relieved when their run fell short last season and they missed the playoffs.
Unfortunately I have a horrible feeling our opponents tomorrow are also going up via the playoffs.
And I don't see us getting close to second... Hurt

I'm with you on this one NER, no chance of second.

Bournemouth are as good as up in my book and basically if any of Watford, Boro or Norwich win three out of the last five, they are out of reach because we need to win five out of five. Sorry but I'm a realist and with our form that isn't gonna happen.

I think personally that we'll finish 5th and play Watford in the play off semi's. If George Thorne was fit, I would be confident of going all the way to the promised land this time, but without him no chance. We may get to Wembley again but if Boro or Norwich are the opponents (extremely likely) I forecast more heartbreak. Bang head
