With QPR returning whence they came and a £50m fine hanging over them for pissing all over the rules lets see what happens.

Of course the Football League will hold firm. QPR will have to pay the full fine. OK it, they will allow QPR to take their place in the Championship whilst the court case proceeds, but in three years time QPR will have to pay the fine that the judge decreed was proportionate, less some compensation for the damage done to their reputation in the meantime, so QPR will be forced to shell out £1.25 in 2020.

I think there will end up being a suspended or reduced fine. I vet Qpr wont have to pay even a tenth of what they owe.

They should have to pay every penny and the funds be split equally between the other 21 clubs (exclude the relegated teams as they have parachute payments).

I think all of the fine should go to Derby........ but then again, I might be just a tad biased LOL

Oh David Nugent, Oh David Nugent, we found him in Preston, we found him in Preston, we found him in Preston at the side of the road in a Volkswagen beetle............

As others in the Championship have already had sanctions imposed on them I can't really see how they can escape scott free. I think a greatly reduced fine will be the outcome, eventually. The fines imposed on Man City and PSG in the Champikns League will also help establish the principle of ffp in the law courts in my opinion.

they knew the rules before they kicked off a game in the championship and decided to completely ignore them and fluked going up - if they really want to show these rules mean business it should work the other way around - pay up or don't play in the league at all - then let them appeal it.

    http://www.football365.com/news/21554/9855591/Good-News-For-City-FFP-Rules-To-Be-Eased-

it has no teeth - the beginning of the end for FFP - no doubt the football league will fold like a pack of cards for QPR

But TBH - I think FPP was all about keeping the status quo for the manures & real madrids of this world and stopping more chelski shitty and PSG forcing the milans and juventus (until this season) further from the centre of the trough
