I bear him no ill will, he generally gave his all for the club and for the price we paid I think we got excellent value from him. As fans we would never make that move but as a player I don't blame him at all. I couldn't possibly wish him luck in view of where he's gone but I'm fairly sure that the games between us will be that little bit more intense for his switch which is great in my opinion.

A good player, who, if he didn't have cheese strings for hamstrings could have made a massive impact.

Always fondly remembered by me for the 10 men game and I wish him well.

A Tyson'esque signing by them as I can't see him ever stringing three games in a row, or even 90 minutes.

Forest have a signed decent player, big problem with Ward he only is available for half a season, giving him a four year contract is a risk as he is a guy who has a track record for falling out with managers, whether that is his fault or not.

Not long ago under Clough he was the only player who stood out from the ordinary so I will remember him for that, rather than his poor performance towards the end.

That may well explain his decision. At least at Forest when he falls out with the manager he only has to wait a few months for a new one. It probably only took him so long to sign because he was hoping for Leeds to make an offer.

On their recent record fair point and I wouldn't expect Freeman to last long into the season, strange choice that one, even more a no hoper than phsycho.

Nice call about Wardy waiting to sign, but alas the truth is more mundane, his contract was ended on the last day of June, ergo he could not sign for anybody legally until the 1st day of July.

Good move for him for family reasons as well as football ones. We all know he will score against us when we play them, FFS even Mart Poom did!

He has got a 4 year deal and for that I hope his agent is on a fair whack because that is quite frankly astonishing for someone with his injury record.

Gave his all for us and was a bright light in dark times so no ill will from me. Obviously I will boo him the first time he takes a tumble, which used to do my head in when he played for us, but I'm sure he will relish that - it's the kind of player he is. Anyone else but them and Leeds and I would wish him all the best.
