He has a year left on his contract but could be on his way. A shame but good luck to him, probably deserves to be playing at a higher level. I see too that Paul Horton has been released by Lancashire. Experienced opener who averages nearly 40..could do a job for us I reckon.....

Footit, been away with England and all of sudden wants to move on, who would have thought it?

Don't agree Loughs. He has performed really well for us and come to the end of his contract. Been with us for a number of seasons and deserves the chance to play at a higher level and help his England chances....

So, hasn't been tapped up by anyone at all, nobody at England whispered in his ear about moving to get closer to the England team?

Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't want to stay here cos we're sh*t, but I can't believe that his refusal is a pure time coincidence

I did say that Val, but he has turned an extension offer down. Chances are he could move on at the end of the season.
