You know, whenever I stand as close to a football goal as Connor is standing in that video, my overwhelming reaction is always surprise at how gapingly large they are. Unmissably massive. Unless you're The Fish.

Who else, other than the Fish, stood at the left hand post, would try to put the ball into the net with the inside of his right foot.

If you really are one footed the use the outside of the right foot, however, a professional footballer should use the inside of the left foot for the best chance of putting that rather wonderful cross into the onion bag.

Said it before........ The Fish is NOT a footballer.

Harsh words. It's not like he missed an open goal from six yards.

    Oh...

Raheem Sterling missed the ball completely with the outside of his right foot rather than have a left foot tap in from 4 yards out at the weekend, and he just cost £50m. Does that mean that he's not a footballer either Amster.

Any footballer is likely to do that once, maybe twice in their career. Given the right service, Sammon is likely to do that once, maybe twice in every match.

Look back over the last two years. I have posted, more than once, that Sterling is nowhere near as good as people are saying. Didn't pull up many trees last season and his start at Citeh has been far from impressive.

He is another sprinter turned footballer. OK when reacting instantaneously, poor when given time to think..................... and he runs like a girl. He has, in the odd game, been really impressive and successful but overall, IMO, he is overhyped.
