Not quite sure who is advisng Berahino but they have made a rod for the lads back, wonder how fans and team mates will take to him now

Could understand Adebayor holding out for pay off of his full contract if he was a lower league player on a small wage but obviously money is more important to him than the game

Is he related to Winston Bogarde by any chance ? He signed for Chelsea in 2000 and was happy to sit out his contract whether he played or not. In the end he only played eleven times during his four-year contract, reportedly earning £40,000 a week during this period.

And that's when £40,000 was a lot of money.

Although Butterfield didn't refuse to play, he pretty much insisted on the move, as would anyone really the money we are talking about is mind boggling.

Poor behaviour without a doubt but that sort of money corrupts and skews morals, would we do any different in their shoes?

Yes, I think we would Purps, there are plenty of other players who don't behave like them

To be fair, Butters came out in the local press saying he'd happily keep his head down and stay if a fee wasn't agreed.
