The last time GB won the Davis Cup, we had three kings on the throne in the same year, and none of them were from Orient.

    A magnificent achievement.

Great that Andy Murray took it seriously and showed tremendous commitment, put his country first, unlike some of the other top players this year Clapping celebration

I believe that only McEnroe (12), Wilander, and now Murray have 11 points or more in a Davis Cup season.

We will only begin to appreciate how good he is when he retires.

The pressure on him is greater than any other matches he plays. He has the responsibilty of the team as well as knowing that if he wins his three matches we win the tie.

Great commitment from a increasingly mature player.

On a hiding to nothing from the start, due solely to some not thought out quips earlier in his career. The win puts him in the "Brave Brit" category. Defeat would have seen that become "Stupid Scot".

Let's hope it's not another just short of 80 years we can enjoy our next win in what could be termed the "Tennis World Cup".

I watched all 4 ties and thoroughly enjoyed it.
