Currently 3-0 up away at a poor Brentford team a game after thrashing a poor MK Dons team.
Coming into form just before they play us or just playing crap teams.
No sideways passing for Burnley..tonk if forward as quick as possible..they were only up by 2 when I started to watch this.
    Getting tougher..need that win tomorrow.

We should, IMO, be playing a combination of Burnley's approach and our own. Keep possession as we do most games, and that does entail an amount of tiki taka but then hit them with fast movement both on and off the ball.

The major difference is Burnley tonk it forward, we have players more adept at playing through the midfield, rather than over it, with the ball on the floor.

Route 1 or the cultured way, it needs to be done at speed. An amount of tiki allows you to attack quickly, using your stamina measuredly through the game. Hell for leather from the off would see you unable to do much at all after 60 minutes at the outside. probably close to half time you'd be out if it.

What I do agree with most fans on this is that when we do decide to "have a go" it has to be at speed with one and two touch football.

Gary Rowett's black & white army! The only certainty is we're all barmy LOL roll

I will start to worry today if the tempo of our game does not increase given the fall out from our last game.

All this possession crap bores the arse off me. I watched Liverpool against Arsenal on the box and it was about the best game I've seen this season.

Agree regarding tikka takka....I've never been a fan of that style of football.
I don't class our style as tikka takka in the boring Spanish/Barcelona style but a cheap mans impersonation of it.
Think as someone else pointed out there is a option of playing both that style and a more direct option.
