Who do you want to win?

Post by Barnstaple Ram on Fri 26 Feb 2016, 1:14 pm

Manure and Liverpool have drawn each other in the Europa League

I know people on this forum have aversions to both of these sides so who do you want to win the tie?

    Europa League

Fairly neutral about Liverpool, lifelong dislike of Man U. So it's a 'Come on You Scousers' from me.

Bin dippers for me too. I have a longstanding, deeply rooted disdain (or worse) for Scumchester.
For some reason that statement won't surprise anybody on here ;)

Even worse, I think Scumchester will beat the dippers........... drat!!

    It has to be Liverpool

Since being at Old Trafford on the day of Hillsborough and listening to their scumbag fans cheering every announcement of Liverpool fans dying I have held a deep deep loathing for their club and everything associated with it!

couldn't give a flying f*ck. Don't like either of them,

They're playing in a tournament that nobody really cares about other than the financial directors of the clubs involved, and this game will now become over hyped beyond belief to the point where the media will tell us that it's the biggest game there's ever been. I even heard a ten minute conversation on the radio about whether this is the first time that these two teams have ever met on a Thursday. WHO F*CKIN CARES!!!!!!

What a load of old b*llocks

I care! I get almost as much pleasure seeing Manure lose as I get from seeing us win. That 1-0 first leg win in the League cup is right up there with Wanchope's goal.

I f@#king hate bin dippers , after years of dominance in late 70/80s and surrounded by them in school, also watching us get battered at anfield 5-0 4-0 etc I hate them with passion ... also being attacked at age of 13 outside ground doesn't help...Afraid

I'm with Loughie although I figure we would be giving a flying **** about the competition if we were in it.
Otherwise it's two has been teams playing to see who gets knocked out a round later.

    So manure for me

It was 3-0... then 4-0... then 5-0!!  In that order.  Three consecutive seasons!  I know, as I was at each of them!  (I'm sorry!)  Never been back there since, for obvious reasons!  LOL

Being attacked inside the ground (at the first of those three games) wasn't great either... and that was in the away end... with the rozzers seemingly encouraging the scummy bastards!  My mate may as well have been naked walking back across the park to the coaches.  They took everything with a Ram on it, and all at knife point!  All in all, it was the worst away day of all, and bearing in mind the era, some away days were pretty hairy!

For the latter two matches, I travelled with the Derby branch of their supporters club, and stood with them on the Kop.  Better view, and somewhat safer.  Even the accent didn't matter, as they stood there every game, so it was known they were from Derby. It was just the scorelines that were getting out of hand!

Still don't give a 5h*t who wins this one though!  LOL roll

Do you really have to ask?

Kings of Europe for me, of course. It would be somehow fitting if they won 5-3....
