I still don't think he's anything special..if this tournament inflates his price personally I would like to see us rip someone off.

Plenty of players have had purple periods in these international tournaments and gone back to normal when the proper football starts at club level. With Jeff if he gets his legal stuff sorted and a manager who picks his best players then he can be a very important player next season.

Get a midfield of Hendrick, Hughes and Thorne out on the park week in week out and that should be the bedrock of a real proper promotion challenge.

Interesting on the commentary of first Hull game Steve Claridge was summerising on 5 live and he said he couldn't understand why a manager would select Bryson or Johnson ahead of him. With respect to them Hendrick is a much superior footballer but his mind probably hasn't been fully on the job.

Maybe it's more an issue of application. He may be more talented, that is certainly up for debate, but he doesn't perform anywhere near as well or as consistently as Bryson. We've seen how excellent he can be in these 3 Euro games, so it's frustrating we only see a handful of similar performances from him in a season.

Yes, the legal issue probably has been on his mind, but this is nothing new. He's been like this for a couple of years.

If he's truly guilty of what he's been accused of I'm not sure there is much of a mind to be honest.
I know when Fergie was still at United and everyone was raving about Hughes...Man U were more interested in Hendrick.
But as I said I'm not convinced....we shall see.

Hendrick always seems to play better when he gets a run in a side...............

Oh David Nugent, Oh David Nugent, we found him in Preston, we found him in Preston, we found him in Preston at the side of the road in a Volkswagen beetle............

If he gets sent down he'll have even more time to improve his game.
