    Three thoughts -

I very much doubt that it would happen

If it did, I can't describe how pissed off I'd be

Owen Bradley now has to push Nigel Pearson for an answer to this - that will be an interesting interview

I would be shocked if a guy who waited 2 years for the right job, would then walk out for a job like Sunderland, it's not as if it's Man United or Arsenal.

Similar sized club with similar ambitions albeit one in the Premiership.

Actually, this shows the current state of the game. The England team suffers because there are so many foreigners playing in the PL and there are no real quality Managers available either.

Why does Bradley nned to push Pearson for an answer on the odds of one betting company?

The bookies make him second favourite for another job and he is expected to answer questions as to why

    What are we paranoid

The betting company in question probably doesn't even know Pearson is our manager. Just listing the usual suspects whenever a PL manager's job becomes vacant.

Because it's good journalism. He asked McClaren about Newcastle, asked Clement about dressing room gate and now he should ask Pearson about the Mackems. If he doesn't then Owen Bradley clearly has no gonads.

Both the other events were in the papers. As Bram says it is probably the usual suspects being touted about

If a bookie listed Pearson as next Labour leader should Bradley grill him over that?

Based on the betting for the England job London press should have grilled Wenger over why he was 3rd favourite. Funnily I have never heard Wenger interviewed about it. Are all London reporters lacking in gonads?

There are 2 rumours doing the rounds as to who will be assisting Big Sam, one says Paul Clement and the other Phil Brown - that's England really in trouble if it's the second one!
