    BRING BACK COLDPLAY....

I refer the honourable gentleman to earlier explanations of why he won't be back this season for certain and probably not at all, ever as outlined in other threads.

Well, we might have won 7 on the bounce BUT we did only draw the last game against a free flowing side who break quickly and love to use the space behind a defence. That is probably why we defended deep at Fulham, to prevent them using that tactic. Unfortunately, we found out that they are quite good at getting crosses in as well. A draw away at Fulham, this season any way, is a decent result.

Might that be considered struggling? Cos if it is then I'll be quite happy to see us continue struggling COYR

Rumour about pre January has reared its head again........ Joe Ledley back on the radar they say. Further reports also say that Rams fans would rather give some of the U23s a go rather than bring Ledley in.

A good player with bite but what would worry me if he did end up here is the lack of pace in a department that sadly lacks that requisite.

Got to agree with you on this point but to be fair to Rowett he says he did not want Bryson to go. He says!!

Rowett has said that he only let Bryson go once the deal for Keiftenbeld was sorted, and only let him go because he couldn't guarantee him games.

The f*ck up that mean't that the keiftenbeld deal fell through is the real problem here not the decision to let Bryson go.

GR needed to let some players go at the end of summer. Some of the proposed moves out fell through; he didn't get interest in some players . Bryson was down the list but on it so when the chance came etc.

It comes back to poor previous recruitment resulting in too many players in the squad. So, as Bryson wasn't first choice he was allowed to go.

That raises a question LR. From your explanation it would appear that the following happened:

    1. We do the Kieftenbeld deal with Brum
    2. That allows us to let Bryson go to Cardiff on loan to start with, going permanent in January
    3. The Bryson deal is ratified
    4. The Kieftenbeld deal is ratified
    5. The authorities get tipped off that there is something amiss with the paperwork by someone unknown (aka some fishcake)
    6. The Kieftenbeld deal is un-ratified.

If the Kieftenbeld deal was sealed first and only then was the Bryson deal set in motion, how did Cardiff get their paperwork to the FA on time and we didn't?

I realise that it is highly unlikely anyone on here knows the answer but it is a question whose answer may well prevent similar troubles in the future. It will happen again despite the changing of the window to the start of the season rather a month into it as there will still be a deadline day........
