Sako not a bad shout...but we need to get out Blackman, Weimann, Camara, Russell, Anya...well that's 5 that play on the left wing where Sako plays! We have 5 left wingers, 4 left backs, 3 centre forwards, 2 right backs, and a midfield that passes backwards. On the 6th day.....

    Did you forget about FFP?
As I understand it, unless we make a decent profit on Blackman, Weimann, Camara and maybe
Anya, it will hit our FFP situation and we won't have much, if anything, to spend on new players.

We could sell anyone who's been at Derby for a while, like Russell, Martin, Keogh, Hughes, and
Bryson, without screwing up FFP. Only Hughes would fetch a lot of cash. Martin and Keogh should
also fetch decent sums. Russell and Bryson probably wouldn't raise much but would save on wages.

Put in a take it or leave it £3.75M for Lansbury. To be accepted by a certain deadline.
If accept great. If not, then move on sharpish.

Also, ask Brighton for a definitive for JR.
Dependent on wage demands, make a take or leave for Sako.

Get business done soon as possible.

At this stage of the season we really need to press on and make a statement to other clubs that we do not mess about.

    Easy this football management lark!!!!!!

Latest on the coldplay situation according to skysports

    JOKANOVIC: MARTIN STAYS HERE

Slavisa Jokanovic says he has told Derby boss Steve McClaren that he cannot have Chris Martin back from his loan at Fulham.

There is no recall option in his season-long loan deal and both Fulham and their manager are reluctant to simply hand back a quality player to a top-six rival in the Championship.

After the Brighton loss, Jokanovic said: "We signed a contract and an option to recall doesn't exist from Derby's side.

"This is nice because they tried to offer him more money and more years, but this solution doesn't exist.

"He is going to stay until the end of the season - this is my position, and this is Fulham's position, too.

"We played against Derby a few weeks ago and Steve McClaren asked me about Chris Martin, and explained to me that he likes this player.

"I explained to him that he's under contract and I want him to stay, and I recommended that he looked in the market for another option. Maybe he didn't understand my English very well."

If it was other way round we be saying let him sit out with youth squad. He choose to go and agreed to this so he should honour it, but these are footballers no loyalty.

Want him back my self but we ad these players a failed, time for new blood in.

Again, light on fact. OK, so SM said to the Fulham Manager that he likes CM. He does, so nothing wrong there.

Jokanovic mentions a new contract...... where does he have this info from? Only seen him mention it.

If Fulham insist on CM staying then he stays...... so sayeth the contract. So should it be. No argument on that.

What do we think about the Osman rumour? It's a romantic memory, if he does come in I would say a deal till the end of the season. Does he still have the legs? He certainly has the experience and quality which is good to rub off on other players.

Latest rumours seem to be concentrating on the possible signing of
Bakary Sako and (again) Jordan Rhodes, who look a lot more likely
to come to Derby than Lansbury or Martin.

Clubs apparently interested in signing Camara include Wolves, QPR
and Cardiff, as well as Toulouse, Montpellier, Lille and Lyon, so Derby
should make a profit on him.

Sako wants to stay at Palace, because he thinks Allardyce will play him.
He's in the final Mali squad for the African Cup of Nations, so he could
be unavailable from mid-January to early February.

Derby are reported to be matching Sheffield Wednesday's bid for Charlton's left back
MORGAN FOX, 23 years old and 1.85m tall, capped seven times for Wales U21s.

Morgan has no history of injuries but we can probably change that, if we sign him.

Can't say i really know anything about this guy. If it were me making the decisions, i would find a loan signing to fill this position, as come sometime near the end of the season (if they all get themselves fit) we'll be overloaded with leftbacks.
