Seems like a done deal on sky sports news for our former boss, see if he's given time with them

Bore the arse of them too.

It be interesting to see how he does really. Some say suited to premier than championship. He will have to turn it round quickly cause they are in big trouble. I thought rowett more suitable but what do I know.

Poor bloody Swansea. They like to play good fast flowing football not the back passing shite that PC plays. I don't think he will see the season out.
Swansea should have kept Monk and not been too quick to let a bad spell ruin his time in charge.

To be fair yesterday against Wigan was as slow, negative and clueless as anything Paul Clement served up here.

I wish him well, I think he did a decent job here, especially considering that it was his first job in management.

My first instinct is that he will fail there and it is a strange appointment. At Derby his style was quite slow and negative but based on possession - will be interesting to see how it works out there, doubt he will be given enough time to turn things round - I don't think there is a quick fix to be had here. There is no doubt Clement is a respected coach but he is yet to prove he can make the step up

It worked for a while but was excruciatingly awful to watch. Then the results went against him as well.

He had been instructed from the off to play attractive attacking football, bring on the Academy "graduates" and get promotion. The last, whilst being important, wasn't deemed to be the be all and end all.

When he was sacked, the Academy lads weren't getting a look in, the football was still excruciatingly awful to watch AND the results became as bad as the entertainment value.

Morris had had several chats with him, reiterating what his mandate had been from the start and still was. Nothing changed. Clement was sacked.

IMO he should NOT take the Swansea job. They WILL go down and he will be sacked sometime between now and the end of May. I don't think Ancelotti will bring him back on board again and his reputation as a manager will be badly damaged.

Oh David Nugent, Oh David Nugent, we found him in Preston, we found him in Preston, we found him in Preston at the side of the road in a Volkswagen beetle............

Had he concentrated on his job rather than 'other' activities, he may have kept his job!
