    What type of manager......

Post by MadAmster on Mon 13 Mar 2017, 1:50 pm

    .... will it be?

Rowett is closer in his approach to Pearson than he is to any of the other recent incumbents.

Pearson couldn't get the little dears to play cos he shouted at them rather than giving them a big hug.

Will Rowett be any more successful?

Who knows? Normally when this club is looking for a new manager a fair majority of fans know exactly what type of manager they want next (usually the polar opposite of what we've just had) and usually offer up a name or two. The squad have shown they can't perform for 'a world class coach', a club man in Wassall, an up-and-coming number 2 with experience of coaching the world's best players in Clement, and a no-nonsense ball-breaker in Pearson. What else is left that we could try?
Is there a modern day Jim Smith about? Someone who can wheel and deal, getting rid of the prima-donnas and assembling a hard-working side with a sprinkling of flair.
