Match full of commitment but sparse on quality.
After match celebrations just reconfirmed for me how much I fekin hate seeing other teams mugging it up and celebrating and how starved I am of seeing us achieve something other than farce and chaos.

    I doubt he does.

Huddersfield have a wage cap of 10k and so he's probably trebled that to come to Derby.

I bet he's still paid more here than he would have been playing in the Premiership for Huddersfield.

Only 6M spent, a number of loan players and a negative season goal difference. Just goes to show the importance of a tactically astute manager. Really hope for their sake they can hang onto him.

Again proof on how a club can sell their best player (as Butterfield was at the time) and then move on. To build a team around one player can be as much a negative as a positive.

Especially if you don't have decent cover/competition for that key position, or any other one, for that matter.

Oh David Nugent, Oh David Nugent, we found him in Preston, we found him in Preston, we found him in Preston at the side of the road in a Volkswagen beetle............

Wagner has shown what can be done without having to spend £millions on transfer fees and wages. I bet no-one in that Huddersfield team is on the sort of money our players get.

If he can get promotion at Huddersfield GR should believe it's possible to do the same at Derby.

Absolutely. A wage cap of 10k which in this day and age makes their story all the more remarkable.

They have spent only a fraction of what we have in transfers and rely on an organised unit of players knowing exactly what there job is.

Their fans have said that since Wagner came in, their players have all improved their performances.

That is exactly the type of man we need but the type of manager that is few and far between. Hopefully GR is that man.
