Can't wait to watch these young guns come of age and crap the bed on the big stage in roughly half a decade.

Makes a refreshing change to see a game involving England in a tournament have a good outcome from twelve yards out.
And how nice to see a England team celebrating what ever the level.
Three or four big solid lads out there who look the real deal to me.
And I thought the little guy Captain Cook Whistle was tremendous.

Far the better side in the 1st half. Under the cosh for much of the 2nd but stood firm and still managed to have good chances to add to that solitary goal.

Penalty? My first thoughts were he played the ball. Then, aided by a different angle in slowmo I saw that, although he did play the ball first, his decision to slide in meant that he was bound to take the man out as he slid through. Well spotted Bjorn.

most wont develop as they will never play in the premiershite - unlike the French, Spanish and German youths who progressed playing at the top teams.

Sad but very likely - If they showed some faith in talented young English players I bet there are far more Deli Ali & Harry Kanes in most teams youth sqauds - and that guy Liverpool have just stolen from Chelski looks good as well - get him on loan
