Reports of £2.25million with sell on, not too bad that for an inconsistent player

Good luck to the "best right back in the league" Rolling Eyes

Yes, that seems decent business for a third choice right back

I thought at times he was a decent player for Derby. Excellent business if the reported figures of over £2million fee are true for him considering his contract would be up next year. I would have thought he was surplus to requirements now that Wisdom has come back

As I said earlier Shards, he has just done the League and Cup double in Austria as a centre half. I think he will either partner Davies in the middle of a back 4 or be part of a back 3.

The fact Cyrus has gone suggests he'll play at Right Back though

Possibly, if you presume we will play a back 4........

The best I can hope for at the moment is a back 3 of Wisdom, Davies and Forsyth/Baird, or a four of (left to right) Forsyth, Davies, Wisdom and Baird.

We are still one really good defender away from having four.

There's no reason to presume not, really, is there. Rowett's not said anything about it. And probably Cyrus is a better wing back than full back so more likely to keep him if we were to play 3 at the back?

I guess we'll soon find out....

will be interesting to see how he lines up the defence - and will Shackell have a place in it - or is he on the "please someone buy him" list
