Middle of the Popside, up towards the back, that day with the usual crew from Burton comprising Kev Machin, Phil Parkes, Taff, Noddy, Big Mick, Stu Wileman and half a dozen others. Singing our heads off.

The Rams were truly magnificent that day. Thanks for reviving the memories NER Thumbs up

I wonder if it's coincidental that our season collapses seem to have been sparked when we've rested several players for cup games? If that pattern repeats this season, and we get 5 something like points from the next 30, then Mr Rowett will be in deep trouble.

Maybe Mel should tell the next manager that the cups are more important than the league and he must try to win every single game.

Repeating old stuff but i still say keep playing a winning team and if injuries occur deal with them with what ever you have available.
If your winning don't change a thing play to keep the run going and if you end up having to play with a striker at left back or a young kid then so be it...deal with it.

Did anyone on here make it down to The Empire Pool Wembley on the 7th November 1973?

If so you would have seen the Super Rams of the 70's lift the Daily Express 5-a-side Trophy, beating Celtic 3 v 0 in the Final, courtesy of a David Nish hat-trick!

    Those were the days happy
