Cyrus Christie to Fulham????? Unless Fredricks is injured he's not getting a game!

I was surprised by this one.

Christie was first choice under Monk and since Pulis has come in, he's been relegated to the bench.

Pulis likes defenders who can defend and Christie was always one that favoured that more modern day getting forward approach.

Among the challengers, I like the two that Villa have brought in, in particular Grabban. A really good winger/forward who has always scored goals.

Not so convinced by Grabban, he flits around from club to club never staying very long and in my opinion it's that he needs lots of chances to score a goal, whereas Vydra is clinical Grabban is very wasteful. Having said that he won't get a start if Hogan and Kodja can get fit and stay fit but both of them are as injury prone as George Thorne.

Jerome I understand. Palmer I don't, partly because I know nothing of him and partly because I don't understand how he will fit in to our system unless GR is going to change tack midstream. Palmer is a mdfielder. Attacking or defensive? If defensive, why? We already have GT, Hudds, Ledders, BJ and Hanson for two places in the team. If attacking how is he going to fit in as we don't play with an attacking midfielder?

Obviously GR will have something in mind and will have communicated that idea to both Chelsea and Palmer and both will have bought the story. The only thing I can come up with is that he has been brought in for one of the 2 wide roles in the "3". Again, we have Lawrence, Weimann, Anya and Bennett for those roles so do we need a 5th?

I am interested to see where others with more knowledge of the lad see him fitting in.

I think the top 2 will be wolves and villa - we will be in the top 6 I think now but not sure where

I think the clear out was quite good - shame about Russell and shame Anya isn't off the wage bill

Just spotted that Bennett has gone to Notts Co. on loan which would suggest that Palmer is in for one of the 2 wide roles in the "3".

just on that Amster, Rowett wanted him to go to Notts County because they want to play him more centrally and he thinks that may well be his best position, something I know you have been keen on for some time.

What? You mean I might have got something right? LOL roll

He played centrally in at least one U23 game recently. A goal and an assist in that game.

It will be interesting to follow his progress at Meadow Lane. Will they play him up top alongside Jon Stead or instead of? (no pun intended)

Not sure what their plan is because they have Ameobi, Stead and the lad on loan from Forest, Grant?, who is their top scorer.

Grant is a Midfield player, so I Assume he will be replacing one of the pensioners upfront

Ammy, Palmer played against us last season at Huddersfield away. He played as a wide midfielder albeit in a 4-4-2, not centrally, so he will obviously replace Russell..hopefully with more quality!

Jamie Ward will score precisely one goal for Cardiff, and I think we all know who it'll be against.

Lot of panic and nerves on social media regarding the competitions activity yesterday and the last month.
Well nobody signed Messi and imo the parity at the top remains about the same.

Rowett has not been about dobbing down big money.
He has put together a team based on experience and formed it into a hard working efficient unit which has probably exceeded expectations.
One strength of this team is that it will not be bullied and it’s a team that seemingly plays without fear.
Think fans need to pump the brakes in the nerve department.

Villa away on April 28th...thats the big one. I said all season they would be up there and I think they are the biggest danger
