Thanks for the offer Mel, but I’ll just pay for mine like I’ve always done.

I like the idea I heard on Monday. The club should offer half season tickets at the start of the season as we only play the first half of the season. We can all find something else to do after Christmas.

I'm beginning to wonder if it really is Mel that would stump up for this. I reckon he has somehow managed to squeeze something into the players contracts that it is in fact they who would cover the refunds, whilst he takes "the glory" for it.

"Shrewd", I think they call it, in the business world! Whistle

Love the idea Loughie. Start from home game #6 through to home game #17. Miss the poor start and the drastic end.

Got a better idea, let's all go and live in Holland somewhere say, Amsterdam for instance, sign up for Rams TV for say £5.00 per game and only watch games till the end of December. It's a lot cheaper and saves the sad and sulky journey home!

I can't believe that anybody actually thinks that Mel is happy if we don't get promoted but I've heard it from a few people.

If we go up his free season ticket offer will cost him around £3m out of the £150m we get from being promoted. Simple maths tells you how stupid that suggestion is. Staying in the Championship is the complete opposite of a "win, win, win" for Mel and the club.

don't forget the bonus payments, contracted wage increases and all the other costs just for the same players we have now - which is nowhere near ready for the premier league - a massive chunk of that £150 would disappear with no improvement to the quality of the squad...

Renewed mine a week ago, but I must say, the monotony is getting to me now...

Year after year, same old, same old... when will they stop this price freeze malarkey, and actually give us a price increase so we have something worthy to moan about!!! Wink

Two references to BBC series in one thread. Am I the only one to see them?
