Wisdom played centre half the season he did the Austrian double with Red Bull Salzburg.

Cheers Amster. I meant to say centre half. I thought he'd played there successfully.

Glad to be of assistance. His experience at CH is one of the reasons I would like to see a back 3. Take your pick from Wisdom, Baird, Pearce, Davies and Forsyth. I would probably go for numbers 1, 3 and 4 from that list.

Put 5 ahead of them, Hudds in the middle as the DM, BJ (for the bite) and Palmer (for the creativity) just ahead and either side of him. Keogh on the right and Anya left.

    Up front Nugent and Vydra.

Carson in goal to complete the XI.

Maybe the slowest back 6 to ever take the field for the Rams.

    Still no f*ckin Casey Palmer

I've said it before, Rowett's over cautious selection and rigidity for one formation will be the thing that does for him in the end, whether that's now or in the future

Here's the actual team (assuming there's no change in formation, which seems to be set in stone) -

    Carson
    Wisdom Pearce Davies Baird
    Huddlestone Ledley
    Weimann Vydra Lawrence
    Nugent

subs - Roos Keogh Forsyth Hanson Palmer Thomas Jerome

Only Baird and Davies of the back four survive, though Keogh and Forsyth are on the bench.

Friday's dreadful midfield pair of Thorne and Johnson don't even make the bench.

Lawrence plays again, despite giving us nothing for a while, but Jerome is replaced by Nugent.
