    GTS v Cardiff (H)

Post by RRC on Sun 22 Apr 2018, 8:10 pm

    Praying for snow?

Cardiff moved back into second with a 2-1 win over Forest
on Saturday night. Their only recent losses have been to Villa
and Wolves, and only Wolves have conceded as few goals.

Derby scraped a 0-0 draw at Cardiff on 30 September, when
the Bluebirds only got two shots on target from 16 attempts.

Please post your guess before the 7.45 pm kickoff on Tuesday.

    3-1 (18/1) to the rams,

there will be moaning and accusations from Warnock, the fans are planning to where ski masks sing snow songs so they will be fuming over the cancelled game, we will be back in play off position and I will have to watch my back (again) when I'm in Copenhagen ...

    WE MUST WIN THIS GAME.

you hope that sound system plays out festive snow songs for the fun of it, Cardiff suppose to be bringing snow glasses and ski outfits etc so why not have " snow is fallen " ring back at them...

I don’t believe in the “ oh us poor long suffering fans” bullshit.
But I do have to say the club owes us a big out of nowhere where did that come from kind of performance tonight.
Possibly not just for the sake of this season but for seasons to come.
At this stage we just need a bit of belief back.

agree 100% we not good enough to go up but we need to have some kind of platform to go on to next season, after first home game against wolves I thought not a hope to be near play offs then come November -January we in top 4 then we all start thinking flip we may do it then the February flop... back to reality.

derby/rowett/fans and myself need good finish to end season and that doesn't mean promotion

Derby need a good finish to end season and that doesn't necessarily mean promotion

A mere 20 points from the 19 games we have played in 2018 is most definitely not promotion form. Closer to relegation IMO.

Despite all this, we are still in with a shout (or should that be a whisper?) of making the playoffs. Once there anything can happen.

The truth is we have done poorly since the turn of the year. If we remain on this 1 point a game average in the last 3 games as well then that doesn't augur well for next season as a point a game would be the form we take into the 18/19 season.

    Us 0 them 2.

I wanted the fans to sing "We play when we want, we play when we want, we're Derby County, we play when we want".

It would be a real wind up for Colin and his crew, but after the Sunderland and Burton shambles's, the irony would be too great.
