After a very forgettable first half Bale sub strike sinks the 'pool, along with a keeper who is surely the dumbest ever or in the pay of the bookies

An assist for the 1st and a crap attempt at a save for the 3rd. Real's 2nd from Bale was quite simpy a worldy.

One Denis Smith Charlie George situation two moments of farce and one moment of brilliance decided that game.
Thought Liverpool started great and really took it to them...reminded me of Derby County last season Stirring the pot .

We do live in vile times though..20 years ago the poor keeper would have been called bloody useless by fans sitting around pub tables post match.
Today he and his family are ridiculed and even threatened in some cases by their own fans.
The lad had a bad game..he hasn’t harmed or murdered anyone...pretty bloody sad times.

Bales first goal was magical. No keeper in the world was going to stop that one. The other two by the Pool Keeper were howlers though.

Not happy in Madrid is our bale, annoyed not to get a start after playing well over last month. Came on and scores probably greatest goal in the champions league.... is time is up at Madrid and signed off in style, his interview after must have had the big boys of Europe looking at their bank balances to see if they can afford him.
Only down side of it that night I had 4FM to win 2-1 and bale to score last goal for 400euros from tenner
