    I was in a pub last night with a Villa fan. I told him they were selling Grealish to WBA for £15M. He said "come off it, you're winding me up". I said "No, that's HMRC who are doing that, I'm just taking the piss!"

    If you drop out of the premiere league for the first time in a long time, you need to bounce back within two years or else the likelihood of turning into Leeds 2.0 is high. I hope Villa fall to pieces.

    Love that piece on the Villa....... it explains Villa's current plight and also gives FFP a new meaning. namely, the "frightening financial position" that Villa are in.

    but how long is the bank of Mel going to stump up £7m a year to keep it going.... especially if we start going backwards and revenues decrease....
