    Tight wads?

Post by MadAmster on Thu 12 Jul 2018, 12:17 pm

They have just announced the pre season RamsTV live package for the pre season friendly games.

You can watch them live on RamsTV for a fiver a throw or watch all 5 for £20.

I have an annual subscription as an ex pat for RamsTV costing £110. I would hope that pre season is included in that deal.

I have written to the club asking for clarification.

I would love to be sure that pre season is included but I am not sure that it will be.

We got preseason for free last year. Used it to test out the system and tempt those who qualified to buy in.

I know. I also thought that the deal was automatic renewal unless you opted out......

Did I read something towards the end of last season saying that RamsTv would be able to show some fixtures to UK residents this coming season (if they haven't been selected by other broadcasters)? Or did I imagine it?

It was announced last week somewhere that Sky are going to broadcast 80odd midweek games and that clubs can stream live midweek games on their own channels that aren't being broadcast by Sky. It is still the case that nobody is allowed to show games at 3pm on Saturdays.

The way Mel seems to be at the moment it'll probably cost fans £50 a game to watch.

Radio Derby it is then, if this is way things are moving we may even have to pay to watch the U/18s/23s.

As a UK based subscriber with an annual ticket, I was advised by email that I cannot renew annually...only by monthly subs.
