It's a long time since I've seen a centre back playing for the Rams with such composure on the ball as Tomori. He isn't (yet) as good in the air as Oooh Mark Wright, but he already looks as confident as the great one when bringing the ball out of defence.

FL has a difficult selection decision to make if Davies is ever fit again.

He may well make a great defensive midfielder as well in the same way that Ledley King was equally good in either position.

Fantastic talent who will become even better when he cuts out the odd silly mistake. At this level he is good enough to cover his own mistakes so they become insignificant, but at the highest level they will be punished.

Or....he stays where he is....and continues to do a good job!
Davies will have to wait...he isnt comfortable on the ball, and has no pace.

I hope that Derby are talking to Chelski already about extending the loan deals of the two loanees for another season. Can't see either of them getting in the 1st team at Stamford Bridge next season. If we got promoted it would give the pair of them a season of experience of playing in the Premier League each week as well

I can't see us being able to extend Mount's loan, it would be great if I'm wrong.
However if we could manage promotion there may be a sound chance we could buy Tomori! If that is the case and Chelsea stick to there usual ploy of not playing the outstanding English players but keeping them away from everyone else Mount may have a very frustrating few years ahead. We can dream that we would get to the Prem and buy em bothbut I think that is 1 dream too far!
