I have Virgin TV with Sky Sports. Last Wednesday I tried view by the "Red Button" the Derby vs Norwich match as I have previous games but it did not broadcast any of the games advertised, only showing the main match Sheff Wed vs West Brom, has any other Virgin TV user had this problem?

The red button worked for this Sky subscriber (me).

At a guess, Virgin didn't pay to have the red button option.
Sky would charge for the air we breathe if it could.

There's a great article  (yet again)  in this month's  WSC Val  about just that.

When 11 of the 20 Prem teams turn a profit excluding match day ticket revenue,  they can have all their games televised live and it won't matter a jot.  The problem comes when all teams below that suffer at the turnstiles.  The loophole to allow live 3pm Saturday streaming via ifollow for "international break" weekends will cause mayhem  for 5th and 6th tier teams who don't know whether to cater for 800 spectators  or 300 (food, stewards,  turnstile operators, etc) and could esaily ruin clubs.

Personally, I love it,  but its not in any way good for the game.

The red button coverage is actually crap though. Only 1 camera angle, no replays, no rewind facility , no pause....no teams given out, ...and it has reduced midweek attendances, so the revenue for clubs is less, the atmosphere at the games is reduced..and what is worse...Forest are getting bigger crowds now!
