    Sam Rush

Post by SawleyRam on Mon 29 Oct 2018, 12:52 pm

The club have issued a short and terse statement concerning Sam Rush on their website:

"The Club and Mr Rush have settled their respective differences on agreed terms, they are now moving on with their lives and no further comment will be made."

Unless an insider comes forward we may never know how our season ticket money has been spent. (Yet again).

I take it rush won then? So we sued him for £6 mill and he sued for £2 mill

Like you said, we’ll never know

Nobody appears to have won because it has been settled before any court case could happen, we will just have to wait until the yeariy accounts are due and see what that reveals, it should give us some clue.

You could say very quickly, perhaps even in a Rush. Afraid

he was always going to win - the club did not follow due process - I expect the rams have paid him to go away with a gagging order.

If that is true then I am against it. If the club/MM made a mistake then I would be far happier to read that fact accompanied by a "wunna do it again" message.

We are presuming that Rush came out on top but we don't know, perhaps the club found evidence of his alleged fraud and told him to go away (or words to that effect) and forced the sale of his 5% shareholding or face prosecution for the alleged offence. Mel Morris is no stranger to convoluted business deals that protect him and his livelyhood.
