    Rowett for the chop?

Post by RRC on Thu 03 Jan 2019, 9:08 am

Former Derby County manager Gary Rowett looks set to be sacke
by Stoke City - just eight months after he quit Pride Park.

The Potters are reportedly planning to move for former Manchester
United boss David Moyes or ex-Everton boss Sam Allardyce.

happy It would serve him right. He left here cos he had been told no money. Went to Stoke, spent loads and it was all wasted. Many of us were happy when he arrived but the footbore on show was awful. Getting a £2M fee for him has to be the steal of the century so far.

I'm never sad to see bad things happen to Stoke; their fans are awful "human beings," or whatever they are. I do have fond memories of GR as a Derby player. I'm always sad to see a former player not work out as a manager, although in this case I think the club was entirely blameless.

Actually, their "awful" fans have just taken a step up in t estimation (temporarily). At the last match the entire stadium (entire, when there are loads of empty seats?) were chanting about the awful state of Rowett's football, likening it to male bovine alimentary surplus, and chanting about the imminent change to his employment status.

If you can find your way to the Oatcakes Forum there is an entire thread about him and his football.
