    Well I’d like to thank you all, I’d like to thank Goldilocks for the motivation, Ner for the inspiration – but mostly I’d like to thank YOU- the poster.
    Who without I would not be here now writing this. Just remember, as W B Yeats said, “I have spread my dreams beneath your feet. Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.”

    And as T.E. Lawrence uttered once in his writings “All men dream but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes to make it possible.”

    But what kept me going were the words of William Arthur Ward, & I quote, “If you can imagine it, you can achieve it; if you can dream it, you can become it.” Which often reminds me of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe when he said “If you would create something,you must be something.”

    But enough of these ramblings & the DET, as Helen Keller is known for saying “When one door of happiness closes, another opens, but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one that has been opened for us.” She may well of had in her mind the words of St. Clement of Alexandra “If you do not hope, you will not find what is beyond your hopes.”

    So may I summarise & leave you with these words from the world’s only truthful, philosophical & truly meaningful film Kung Fu the movie, starring David Carradine, where Master is talking to Grasshoper;

    KCC: Master, forgive me for I have failed.
    Poe: You have not failed no one Grasshopper, only your own ambition.
    KCC: My ambition?
    Poe: It is sometimes difficult, is it not, for you to remember that you are but a humble priest?
    KCC: Yet, as a man I sometimes greatly fear that I may fail.
    Poe: If that is our destiny, you cannot change it. But do not go in fear, Grasshopper. Fear is eternal darkness. Go instead with inner strength. For it is like a deep river, into which all streams flow. It increases, always moving forward. And soon, there is nothing that can stand in its way

    Remember fellow posters - Don't put off until tomorrow what you can do today & any friend of yours is a friend of mine.

    Thankk you

    Thank you, please thank you
