I want to do the first one

    Kidulthood

Good film about disadvantaged youth's growing up in London. There lives tragically turn to guns, crime and drugs. Better than Adulthood which is the sequel. Funny to watch because they all say blad after every sentence

    Slumdog Millionaire

A lower class Indian Kid is about to win millions on the Indian Who wants to be a Millionaire...but how did he get to be in the hotseat, and how does he know the answers?? Really interesting film, with some brilliant performances and very cleverly shot.

    7 Pounds

Will Smith is on fine form in this film about an American man torn to pieces by a secret, and how he goes about putting right his wrong doing.

Not fantastic, but an interesting story and a very powerful ending.

    No Country For Old Men

Really enjoyed this suspense thriller about a fella who finds $2 million and a shit load of drugs in an abandoned car, and decides to keep the money. What then ensues is a race to save his life as the drug lords and a psycho hitman hunt him down.

Good stuff, but for those who have watched it - how did that fella die at the end, did that woman die and what the fuck was that dream all about??

    American Pie 2

Seen it before. Typical teen comedy. It may be very cliched by it made me laugh. One for the younger members on here.

I watched Slumdog Millionaire last night.
I had thought that it sounded like highly over rated commercial crap. However, I was way wrong.
An excellent story and some great acting, particularly by the younger versions of the lead characters.

I highly recommend it to anyone.

    Snatch
    10/10.
How can you not love this film? Vinnie Jones calling some randomer a "peenarse" and Brad Pitt as a gypsy ("She's terribly impartial to the periwinkle blue...do I make myself clear boys?")

Snatch is quality. "Tyrone, you silly, fat bastard". Funny as.

I watched The Untouchables a few days ago. AMAZING film. Kevin Costner on fine form, one of the great ganster films. Better than the Godfather?

    I'd say so.

I watched John Grisham's RainMaker the other night and its one of my favourite films.

Gripping and emotional story lines, with 2 main plots and a couple of smaller plots within, excellently acted out by the very under-rated Danny DeVito and Matt Damon with a good performance by Jon Voight (Jolie's dad). Clare Danes is a sweetheart too.

Well worth a watch for the script alone!

9 out of 10 from me.

The thing that annoys me about Shawshank Redemption is why do the police not chase that black fella for breaking his bail conditions?

how would they find him in Mexico? Plus, he says himself that an old man breaking bail wouldnt cause too much of a fuss.

    Of course I do

    Another film:

    This is England

I enjoyed this film although at times it was very sad. Makes me very, very glad I was not alive in the 1980's. The film is about a lad growing up without a father and joins a gang of racists for the feeling of acceptance
