Well considering the cast i expected something better a chance missed to make a good film sadly just served up the normal lets rescue them.

Well. that shows what a good judge I am then!!

I prob only watch 3 or 4 films a year, but when someone posted the trailer for this on here a couple of months ago, I really liked the look of it.

    Don't think I'll bother now!

Thanks for the warning, Ramnut. Thumbs up

The Social Network - Christ, it's dull. Trying to make a film about a bunch of "born with a silver spoon" Harvard Grads trying to whinge their way into getting a financial cut of something they don't really have any claim too whilst some neurotic geek reminisces about an old girlfriend does not an entertaining movie make. Still, well acted and supremely directed and even Justin Timberlake is good in it. 6/10.

The Game - Michael Douglas in paranoid neo-noir thriller which, and I can't really say why without spoiling the ends, make no sense whatsoever. Still, as with Social Network, very well acted and directed so 6/10.

I've now seen EVERY David Fincher film, hooray for me!

    Jackass 3D

I know that many on this forum arent a fan of 3D, but it really did make the whole experience amazing. Seeing poo come out of a person who's buttox are decorated as a volcano in 3D really is an experience I cant describe.

The whole thing was hilarious, and really utilised the technology they had available. Its possibly the best £7 I'll spend this year. I'd consider buying a 3D tv, just so I could have it in 3D on DVD.

Napoleon Dynamite - had tried watching this a few times and never really got into it but finally managed to watch the whole thing last night.

Pretty funny - well worth a watch.

I like Alien3. Well the directors cut at least. But he has some excellent films - Zodiac, Seven and Fight Club are amongst the best American films of the past 15 years in my opinion.

Benjamin Button though left me cold, though I think it was nothing to do with his direction rather the lack of a gripping tale to tell.

Certainly did. I also got to see people stand in a jet stream, whilst footballs are thrown into said jet stream, forcing them to be hurtled at crazy speeds towards the foolhardy young men.

Other things included a bloke getting kicked in the gentlemans regions by a donkey, someone having a tooth pulled out my a Lamborghini, and wee man being superglued to preston

Great film, the midgets fighting and the midget police/paramedics coming in was funny as fuck.

    King of Kong

A documentary about the war between two guys to claim the world record score at Donkey Kong. So geeky, yet somehow brilliant. The bad guy "Billy Mitchell" is such an odious fishcake, when he gets his eventual commupance it is a ridiculously sweet moment.

    Cracking story.

    Did little Mo feature much?

Last film I saw was Elf on Doovday.

Good for a Christmas film, but not really my cup of tea. The only thing that rescued it from being utterly awful, was the wonderful Will Ferrell. Ever since Anchorman, I cant dislike any film featuring Will Ferrell.

At last.....I'm very proud to say I have now watched a trilogy of films, for the very first time. :woo:

I'll admit that the baby was a bit scary, and the monkey on security duty was well evil. But gay Ken (allegedly) was a hoot, and as for Senor Lightyear .....very suave!

All in all, brilliantly acted, the casting was genius, and some of the locations were absolutely picturesque.

Sunday afternoon tea, cake & TOY STORY 3.........TEN out of TEN! Thumbs up
