I think we will do better in December than you think and worse in january.

I reckon 3 points from November
    9 points from December
    9 points from January

that maeks one point more at 38.

    Wish I could be more optimistic... 13 points + 17 = 30 points
We'll need to finish very well to match last season's total of 54 points or finish any higher up the table.

    Dec (7)

We have players coming back so I'm a bit more optimistic than I was before. And to be fair, anyone can beat anyone in this division.

    Nov...

    Swansea (a) 1
    Reading (h) 3

    Dec...

    Wba (h) 1
    Preston (a) 0
Watford (a) 3 (My birthday so obviously)
    Donny (h) 3
    Blackpool (h) 3
    Newcastle (a) 0

    Jan...

    Scunny (h) 3
    P/boro (a) 3
    Plymouth (a) 0
    Forest (h) 3

23 from those games me thinks. Although I get a sneak that we'll shock either WBA or Newcastle.

Agree with Troy regards the Newcastle game.
Other than that my expectations remain low for the above set of games.

P12 W4 D4 L4 PTS 16 - which would have us on 33. I think we are a poor side but have some very favourable home fixtures which we HAVE to win if we are to stay up.

Why not? Typical Derby to beat all the good sides and lose to Watford. But yes 31 form the next 36. It will be more but the fixtures on this thread only went to Jan...

I'm pretty good at guessing the scores on the day of the game (QPR excepted)but equally useless doing it like this but here goes.

    Nov

I think we'll come a cropper against WBA by trying to push forward and go for the home win. Newcastle on the other hand, I think we'll go for the pragmatic away draw and pull it off.

All of the results will pend purely on our injury problems over the next few months. I've said all season that I expect our season to start from Christmas. I think we'll be a completely different team come 2010 and severely hope that Clough can dish out a lot of humble pie.

that is the brightside, I could have said bottom!

Having watched us play and seen how we play bad side into form and are totally incapable of competing with the better ones I have no reason to expect any better.

If the manager maybe tried to play more positively and used players in the best positions things would be different.

We start most games looking for a draw, and have no real plans for when things go differently to expected.

You don't think getting any of the injured players back is going to help us at all then?

Yet we've won the majority of our games at home. If we could improve our away form - we'd probably be looking at top 6. I'm not sure how you can ever play positive football when we've had such an injury hit unsettled team. I still believe the pessimism and negativity of large sections of our fan base are somewhat to blame for our poor results. Negativity breeds negativity.

Certainly negativity, booing our own players, chucking things at them etc etc during a match is never going to get the best out of anyone. I seriously doubt any of the players take any notice of forums, I would hope.
