It will be that Ollie guy because the chicks love him. Joe is a bit of a closet.

The Dagenham bird's personality is fake imo. "Ooh I can't believe I'm in the final! Look at me! Wow! I can't believe it!"

Alledgedly a record 19.1m people watched this f**ckin rubbish!

What the f**k is wrong with these people for christs sake, are their lives really that terminally dull that they have to resort to watching Simon Cowells latest production line doll singing yet another plinky plonky, instantly forgetable, load of old sh*t. I feel sorry for these people right up until they get up out of their sofas and inexplicably buy the f**kin rubbish, at which point any sympathy I had disipates and I wish them nothing but excruciating pain.

Death to X-Factor and anybody who has an interest in it

My favourite quote pertaining to the role of TV in people's lives comes from Jerry Seinfeld -

"It's a habitual medium. Most people aren't really entertained. What they need is they need to watch TV. Entertainment is almost a luxury item. Television is like a flyer somebody sticks on your windshield. Who gives a damn what's on it? It's iridescent wallpaper. Sometimes I think people just like the light on their faces."

The fact is, on average, the singles released sell around 400,000 copies. So that means 18.7m people watching don't care enough to even get off their arses when it's done and buy the bloody song when it's out. I used to get angry about shit like X-Factor/Pop Idol/Pop Stars etc. but really it has no relevance to my life and if people get enjoyment out of watching nobody karaoke singers get famous for 5 minutes before disappearing back into obscurity, more power to them. The wide spread nature of media now means you can easily avoid stuff you don't like anyway. I don't actually know who won the bloody thing this year which is crazy when you think half the country watched it - it should be unavoidable.

Help me somebody..........I'm in excruciating pain!!
TBF, Loughie, I can fully understand people, and many of them, not being the slightest bit interested in this sort of thing, in the same way that I have no interest in Big Brother, Celebrity Jungle/Dancing on Ice, Period Dramas and films with Jim Carey and/or Ninja's in them!
What I can't understand is that people can get so worked up about it. Why don't they just shrug their shoulders, and say "not my cup of tea mate, but each to their own"?
I don't get angry about people watching/playing/enjoying cricket, for example. Nor do I think any less of them for doing so. I would say, Kaysarasara, but I can't spell it!!
Oh, and for the record, 'watching this shit' as you put it, is my limit. I don't buy/download music, (if it ain't on Heart/Smooth FM, I don't hear it!...and that's only when I'm in the car!) I certainly don't bother voting, cos I ain't that bovvered.
And don't forget, there are plenty of people out there who chirp up with "400 fu**in' quid to watch that shower of shit 23 times a year, you must be mad"! Money well spent in my eyes, but there's plenty of folk think I'm crazy for doing so.
Motto of the day.......Que sera, sera (Gotcha!)

I would agree with you if it begun and ended with a sh*t telly programme once a week but it's the fact that a complete kn*b jockey is making millions out of this nonsense and the fact that he has the Christmas number one every year.

It's similar to my dislike of Man Utd and the money that they extort out of the rest of football in order to further their empire, yes we can just say Que sera sera and ignore it, but there are wider issues than that unfortunately in my opinion.
