And Genuis of Britain has been a really really good series.

Me too, absolute genius, started reading Pratchett in the late 80's and seem to have been waiting for his next book all my life! I had no end of arguments with my lecturers at Uni (I did English) because they wouldn't accept that Pratchett was a 'valid' author. Toss pots.

Pratchett isn't 'Si Fi' as some people pidgeon hole him, he is a satirist who uses the medium of fantasy. If a good novelist holds up a mirror to society Pratchett holds up one of theose funny ones from the fairground.

On the subject of telly, I'd just like to say a big thank you to Loughie for his PM, inviting me round to his on Saturday night, for his BGT partyfest. Appreciate the invite, Loughie, but unfortunately I'll have to decline. Unlike some, I'm not a big fan of Mr Cowell. Maybe another time! :fb11:
