    Is anybody watching

Post by Loughborough Ram on Mon 12 Jul 2010, 5:15 pm

    Big Brother?

Ok I admit that I normally catch some of BB, but this year I have not seen one sinle second of it, and as I don't read newspapers I know nothing of any of the collection of saddos and wierdos who are inhabiting the boring sh*t hole.

Is it good (well when I say good....)?

If people are like me, BB must be really p*ssed off that their last ever series is going out with a whimper as opposed to a bang.

By the way, how f*ckin annoying is Davina MacCall on everything she does. I used to quite like her but now I'd prefer to punch her.

No, I'm not. I never have.

My abiding memory of it is of not being able to get a drink at 10 o'clock one Saturday night because the staff were watching the final of Big Brother (think it was the first one). Vowed from that point that I would never watch it (though, to be fair, I hadn't watched any up to that point).

Watched the first couple as it was an interesting TV show monitoring how normal people would react to that particular situation.

Then they just started putting freaks and loopers in and it became an attention-grabbing job.

    Haven't watched since BB3 so I'm afraid I can't help you Loughie.

I've been watching it, simply because I enjoyed the first couple of series, and this is the last one on 4, so I thought I may as well give it another try, since it's the last chance.... have to say, it's sucked me in, just like the first couple, and I remember now why I deliberately made sure I didn't see a single episode of the last few series... I can't go a night without catching up on the house, have it series linked and everything lol.

I have to admit though, the house mates are nothing but a bunch of attention seeking, self obsesses tossers out to get a few minutes of fame... there is one guy who doesn't seem to be on that game, Steve a crippled ex serviceman, but then he has come under some stick for being 'boring.' Despite disliking most of the house mates, I still enjoy the show... Dunno why Dunno Dunno Dunno

I have been sucked in and I blame the missis, I hate myself for it!

There is quite a cute little love affair going on with a 'dashing' Oz lad and a fat Bristolian. That has interested me, other than I just enjoy sitting infront of the telly spitting venom.

managed to stay away from it again this year - my mardy I had with the Mrs for watching last year still seems to have worked as she only watches it when I am not in the room - she must scared that I might get angry again. (last year because of my mardy she didn't watch any at all)

Saw a few minutes of the first series and decided that watching paint dry was more interesting.

I watched the first few series "because it was all the rage", but didn't watch from about series 4 onwards.

I have caught a few episodes of it, and although I feel disgusted with myself, like Alvo said, it just sucks you in. The 19 year old nerd is like a guy off the Inbetweeners. Mario (?) seems like the winner at the moment to me.

It is really trashy tele, but somehow i've been sucked into it all.
